The Part of Golf No One Taught You

Track What Matters

You shot an 87. What can you learn from that number? Almost nothing useful. Your score tells you the outcome, but it can’t explain why you struggled or reveal what actually needs work. Even worse, it completely ignores your mental state—the invisible factor that often makes the difference between playing well and falling apart.

That’s why I developed the Flow Scorecard and Analytics Spreadsheet. They capture what standard scorecards miss: directional patterns in your misses, whether you’re struggling off the tee or with your approaches, how your putting and scrambling actually perform under pressure, and most importantly, how your mental game evolves throughout the round.

The Flow Scorecard gives you the tracking framework. The book gives you the method for scoring your mental performance hole by hole. Together, they transform your round from a single meaningless number into actionable insight about both your physical execution and mental state.
